    Is it possible to be allowed to fly your own little propellor airplane (like a piper seneca) if you have a? prosthetic left arm ? Would you be able to pass the medical test ?

The designated examiner that I sent him up with had only one leg. Between the two of ‘em they had enough limbs to fly the aircraft. He passed his ride. It can be done.

    How many miles can a cub piper airplane fly,? Without making refueling stops? I am asking about averages and I am well aware there are different gas tank sizes and motors in different plane.Other than that there is very little I know about air crafts!

    “The Proud Piper”- Good luck with your new business. My Dad was in WWII USNavy and to this day I remember him putting his head into WWII books and not saying a word. He passed 1/1/91. Your grandfather was mighty special in your hearts. I wish you the best. Where are you located? I’d like to stop in if I ever get there.

    I would recommend doing your homework on the historical tip. Find out the exact name of the plane that the prop came from and make sure all fans in the pub are exact replicas of the same. If you are trying to honor your grandfather, find out where he served, and maybe name the pub after the base. The military usually used a letter group for a training plane, so maybe you coud incorporate the letter call sign for the plane that yielded the prop into the name of the pub.

    I like “The Proud Piper” too. It’s cute and has a bit of history as well. What was your grandfather’s name? Maybe incorporate that or his initials or something of that nature into the name. I like the other suggestion about the Enola Gay, but instead of calling it “The Enola Gay” I would shorten it to just “The Enola” for obvious reasons (as dumb as that may sound). And my ridiculous suggestion (I feel silly for even mentioning it…) would be “Bombers Bar and Grill” or something like that. That is one of the first words that comes to mind when I think of America’s contribution to WWII. Or maybe using names of other planes used in dogfights would be good also. I like the propeller as a fan too. AND, I wanna know where you are located as well!

    Draw the two vectors and do a vector addition, and compute the magnitude. It’s a headwind, so d is out. b and c are too close to 100, so (a) is probably the answer, lacking the calculation.

    I’m not sure if you are reposting this to call out the sim pilots or if you are just being a troll, but I’ll bite. 1. Don’t “grasp” the thrust levers in a tight grip. Just rest your hands on top of the levers. Many jets have a “thrust snatcher” that will bring the thrust lever back to idle if a thrust reverser deploys. It brings the lever back hard and fast enough to dislocate or tear off your thumb if you have a good grip on it. You also want to be in a position where you just have to bring your hand down to rapidly retard the thrust levers if you need to abort the takeoff. Hands off the thrust levers at V1, committed to takeoff. 5. You are in a tunnel under the ramp between Concourse B and C. No windows because you are underground. The ceiling has neon sculptures.
